Using the PM Final software as part of my curriculum has allowed my students to achieve a >99% pass rate on the PMP Exam. Those results are hard to argue with!

I teach a five-day PMP Prep Course with content developed by another vendor. This is a great course but does not provide the adult learner with what they need most: ''Training the brain to take tests''. As adults we rarely are asked to sit for tests (let alone 4 hour exams), and so a large part of our curriculum includes time for the student to take PM Final tests. I start with one on Monday morning to use a baseline, and through end-of-day testing Tues-Friday the student is able to see their growth. This gives the student confidence in their knowledge and skills and provides feedback to me on what I need to review.

In addition, we take a 100 question PM Final exam as a group on Friday morning, and openly discuss each possible answer and then the class decides on the right answer. They find this part of the class very useful as it again helps to train the student how to read and interpret the questions and the possible answers. By Friday the class is taking 200 question exams, which they typically finish in 2-3 hours. Their success on this exam relieves stress and adds confidence to the student as they move to the real exam.

The web based software is intuitive, easy to use, and the students love the ability it gives to access PM Final from almost anywhere. They also have commented favorably on its ability to start a test and then save it for completion later (we are busy people, full of personal and business interruptions!), take a test that focuses on a specific knowledge area, review their answers, see the correct answer along with the specific PMBOK-based reasoning, and the ability to ''rate a question''.
